Chevrolet Spark Owners Manual: Delayed Locking
This feature delays the locking of the doors until five seconds after all doors are closed.
When 
is pressed on the power door
lock switch while the door is open, a chime will sound three times indicating delayed
locking is active.
The doors will lock automatically five seconds after all doors are closed. If a door is reopened before that time, the five-second timer will reset when all doors are closed again.
Press on the door lock switch again
or press on the RKE transmitter to
lock doors immediately.
This feature can also be programmed. See Vehicle Personalization on page 5-27.
Door Ajar Reminder
If one of the doors or the liftgate is not closed properly while the ignition
is on, the door ajar light on the instrument cluster comes on and stays on until
the doors are closed.

the vehicle.

If the Vehicle Is Stuck
Slowly and cautiously spin the wheels to free the vehicle when stuck in sand,
mud, ice, or snow.
If stuck too severely for the traction system to free the vehicle, turn the traction
system off and use the rocking method. See Traction Control/Electronic Stability
