The infotainment system is operated by using the pushbuttons, multifunction knobs, and menus shown on the display.
Turning the System On or Off
/VOL (Power/Volume): Press to turn
the radio on and off.
Automatic Switch-Off
If the infotainment system has been turned on after the ignition is turned off, the system will turn off automatically after 10 minutes.
Volume Control

/VOL (Power/Volume): Turn to adjust
the volume.
(Phone/Mute): Press to activate OnStar.

Press and hold to mute the infotainment system. Press again or turn the
/VOL knob to cancel mute.

Menu SystemIf the Vehicle Is Stuck
Slowly and cautiously spin the wheels to free the vehicle when stuck in sand,
mud, ice, or snow.
If stuck too severely for the traction system to free the vehicle, turn the traction
system off and use the rocking method. See Traction Control/Electronic Stability

The StabiliTrak or Traction Control
System (TCS) indicator/warning light comes on briefly when the engine is started.
If the light does not come on, have the vehicle serviced by your dealer.

of fuses, circuit breakers, and fusible thermal links.
